We had friends of friends who had that lovely old inn in the high street. We used to get invited for the occasional reunion meal there. They're gone now, but your post brings back good memories of Wargrave, the river and all the other pretty villages around there. The family bought it and did a renovation to their liking. I love seeing these quaint buildings and their beautiful surroundings.
