South Hill Park

Hello

Thanks for dropping by.

It's ages since we've visited South Hill Park and on such a bright sunny day it was hard to drive by without a walk through the beautiful grounds.

This time there were two swans happily enjoying the lake, I'm not sure if they are a pair but at least they seemed content in each other's company.

The new planting by the lake has sprung to life with roses looking great with flowers and rosy rosehips too.

A lot of the blackberries were out of focus, funny that, or it could have been my camera!

The meadow was still going strong making a lively contrast with the trees behind.

With the school holidays in full swing, the Park was busy with picnicking people and children playing games.

All's well in this wonderful spot.
