The Savill Garden

Hello

Thanks for popping in.

When you've had a baby to stay, there's so much paraphernalia needed to keep it going that you don't normally have around the house, like a cot or a high chair.  Fortunately, there's always someone who comes up trumps with the offer of help.  Thank you.  Afterwards when there are only the usual inhabitants around with no chance of squeezing into a high chair, the items need to be cleaned and taken home again.

Luckily this gave us an excuse to pop into Savill Garden's revamped restaurant and shop en route.  If you'd like to see my previous posts on the Garden itself, search using the Savill Garden label above.

The roses were beautifully perfumed and looking stunning in the outdoor shop.

As were the enormous mop heads of the hydrangeas near the cafe.  The wonderful roof hasn't been changed, just the interior seems to have been rearranged.

It looks very light and airy.

I don't usually take photos in the Ladies but it did look rather beautiful.

The fancy taps include a hand drier within the two 'wings', I haven't seen one of those before but it worked a treat with the Dyson drier giving a great blast.

Cheerio

  4. You are so funny, taking photos of the Ladies'! Surely it's so posh that it should be called the Powder Room? x
