Hello Again!

Hello, hello

How are you?  Long time no see!  So sorry to have been away for so many weeks but I'm sure you have had plenty to do and a great selection of blogs to choose from.

I'm just back from visiting family, especially a tiny new addition, in Australia which has been an incredible time.  I've taken lots (and lots) of photos and will share some with you once I get a bit more organised.

After the blue skies and colourful Spring in Perth, it's quite a shock to be back to bare trees and dark evenings, I missed the changing leaves of Autumn but enjoyed seeing them in your blogs.  The house looked different too - how colourful the kitchen looked! All the cupboards were in the wrong place, where were the plates?  You've never seen so many soggy leaves piled high all over the garden.  How can it be nearly Christmas when it was so summery a couple of days ago?

Gradually, things seem back to normal especially after a trip to the shops to restock.  I should have taken my camera though as I'm sure you'd have enjoyed seeing a couple of reindeer on motorbikes followed by some elves and Santa on theirs speeding through the village.  I'm out of blog practice!

  2. Welcome home. I bet it was hard leaving that teeny tiny person in Australia so it's a good job that Christmas Cheer is everywhere. x

  3. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your travels. The house always looks strange when you've been away for a period of time and I'm sure the weather will have been a shock to the system after spending time in spring temperatures. It doesn't take long to get back into the swing of things though, does it?

    1. Thanks Rosie. It must have been part of an event, about 20 motorbikes in all dashing along, tinsel flying, definitely not what I was expecting! ☺

    1. Thank you! We are a couple of gadabouts but we're back to normal now, or we would be if it wasn't Christmas!
