Colour at the Park

Thanks for joining me today.

The Park by the Shops is looking splendid this week.  It was a particularly beautiful morning with bright blue skies. Shafts of light beamed through the trees.  Behind me, there was the occasional thud as another chestnut fell and landed gently on the forest floor.  Even the car park was full of Autumn hues, you could just have stayed in the car but where is the fun in that.

I don't think I've seen such a good rainbow in the fountain before, it just got stronger and stronger.

Just the remnants of a shower speckled the roses.

The funfair had arrived and was getting ready to open at the weekend.

This tree was super cone-y.  Two different types on the same tree.

Mr grey heron looks big and fluffy but still has a beady eye on the water, trying not to miss a trick. The swans were sneaking up to the fisherman as he adjusted his chair oblivious, maybe he had something tasty in his bag.

What a wonderful time of year!

Inside the Art Centre, there was a new exhibition which you can take a peek at tomorrow.

  3. What a wonderful rainbow. It is a lovely time of year:)

    1. It is. Things are changing all the time and as long as it isn't too windy, we'll all be able to enjoy the colourful leaves. 😊
