Quilt Update plus Other Creations

How are you?

I seem to have been busy with other things recently but have made some progress with joining my two old patchwork quilts together. I have now finished the extra squares needed to make the two quilts the same size and they are now all attached to the smaller quilt. Next up is acquiring some wadding to go between them, then I'll be ready for phase two, joining it all together.

I've made a few Moses baskets covers and some dresses from some old broderie anglaise in the meantime.

I'm looking forward to ordering some more wool too, once I've decided which project to launch into next, there are so many to choose from!

Off to put the kettle on to mull over all the options!

Bye for now.

  1. You've been quite busy and similarly, I take my afternoon respite with tea as a time to ponder things.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

  2. Wonderful projects you have been working on! The cooler weather always inspires creativity indoors, it seems. I'm looking forward to the slower pace. Tea and pondering go together nicely :) x Karen

  3. Patchwork quilts are such pretty things. All the fabrics meld together and look wonderful. Taking time throughout the day for tea and thinking is a very good thing.

  4. Beautiful! I look forward to seeing more of the quilt as you work on! xx
