I first heard about his work in 2005 when we went up to London to see his Rolling Bridge at the Grand Union Canal, Paddington. The photos show it closing.
So after that, I started looking out for his work and eventually bought his book -Making.
Here are his air vents located in Paternoster Square by St Paul's Cathedral.
He designed this for the Science Museum to show lots of different types of materials
People could try out his chairs at the V&A and see the exhibition.
He designed the Olympic cauldron for London 2012, which can now be seen at the Museum of London.
A new London Routemaster bus
The East Beach Cafe in Littlehampton
and a lot of larger projects that I haven't seen - yet!
In a couple of years' time a Garden Bridge may be built over the Thames in London, a project done in conjunction with Joanna Lumley. Have a look here.
