John Piper Windows Farnborough Berkshire

Just half an hour's drive from Welford Park, down twisty turny roads lies Farnborough Berkshire. There are only a few houses and a church perched on top of the hill in the village not that far from the Ridgeway, a long distance footpath.

Inside All Saints Church, once you manage to get through the three doors, you are greeted by a wonderful stained glass window designed by Artist John Piper as a memorial  for his friend the Poet Sir John Betjeman who used to live in the neighbouring Rectory.

You would never have believed such a jewel would be hidden inside the church.

Another of John Piper's windows is at Robinson College, Cambridge.

I'll have to keep a look out for some more.
