Last Part

Hello

Fancy finding a castle on the canal! Not too much of a surprise for us as it was on the map.  Anyway, we're off again along the towpath.

When we reach the brick bridge, we leave the towpath and walk past the delightful houses in the village.

Then, 3 miles after we started our walk we're back at the Mill House Inn ready for our lunch and a look round the garden dominated by the River Whitewater.

Such a pretty place and a great walk which I found on their website.

I hope you enjoyed coming along as well.

Cheerio

  2. I've been lagging behind as usual as I was looking at the highland cattle, but I've caught up now. I've enjoyed the walk, coming across those surprises, hearing about the canal tunnel roof collapsing and how bats have moved in, wandering around the castle ruins, seeing the flora and fauna and ending up for a delicious lunch in an interesting inn. Love the first photo in this present blog post. Thanks for sharing and have a good weekend!
