Thanks for visiting.
There's a new John Piper Gallery at the Sir David Chipperfield designed River and Rowing Museum in Henley.
I'm rather a fan of John Piper's work, especially his stained glass windows, do see the label above for lots more posts on his work.

John Piper lived in Fawley Bottom not far from Henley for most of his life. His work during the 20th Century was very diverse ranging from painting, collage, drawing, stained glass, ceramics, tapestry, set design and textiles and the new gallery is the first permanent exhibition of his work. The money to set up the gallery was raised by crowd-funding through the Art Fund.
Along with work from private collections, there will be a constantly evolving display of loans from galleries such as the Tate, V&A and Arts Council.
