After the Thaw

Hello

Thanks for dropping by.

The ice on the windscreen of the car is full of feathery shapes.

A couple of hours later, the thaw sets in, everywhere is muddy and wet.

The seagulls collect on the branch dangerously close to the water. One more and they will all be in! Splash!!

Seed heads, their own beauty on show, lead the way for more wildflowers to look forward to.

Cheerio

  3. Looks like lots to see and capture. You give us a great impression of the muddy conditions yet it must have been an enjoyable walk.

    1. Yes it was glorious but I'd hoped to go a bit further but it was just too muddy. Next time, I'll have to go when it's still frosty.

  4. I love the icy, feathery shapes. I wonder if you have had any snow yet? B x

    1. We've had the teeniest bit of snow, just enough to make the grass partially white. It's all gone again now though. x
