Sweeping up the Leaves

Good morning! Or is it afternoon?

Thanks for popping in.

Leaves, leaves, leaves don't you love them! The secret is not to get all hot and bothered when they fall from the trees but to just enjoy the spectacle of your garden transformed.

Eventually you'll have to clear them up as it all gets a bit slippy, much easier to do it when they are wet.

Cheerio

  1. Ours seemed to just blow away this year. One advantage of constant wind. Just a few remained in sheltered corners. Have a good weekend:) B x

    1. That's good, ours were collected together in piles although the lawn looked surprisingly green when I'd finished sweeping! There are still quite a few leaves to fall though. x

  2. We still have a few more leaves to gather before the last wheelie bin collection of the season, I did get out earlier today to trim out the browning crocosmia leaves which were drooping all over:)

    1. Oh dear, do they stop collecting in the winter? They come here every fortnight but we compost the leaves at the end of the garden rather than send them off. x

  3. Oh we have to do some serious leaf collecting in the Glade, I think it will be a team effort tomorrow. It's such a shame because I do think they make everywhere look pretty X

    1. They've been spectacular this year and not to much of a bother. Mind you I must get round to the front garden soon or the postman won't be able to deliver the letters!
