Potatoes

Hello

How nice to see you!

Way back in the Spring, Mr CK planted one potato each into two old compost bags and gradually added some old compost when the leaves started to emerge until the bag was full. It just sat on the side without anymore messing about.  However, the magic was happening inside the bags! The leaves died back and at the weekend, one bag was upended into the wheelbarrow and the treasures revealed. Voilà.

That's one bags worth minus the rather scrummy ones we had for dinner.

Nature is just fantastic isn't it!

Cheerio

  5. It always amazes me what we can grow from a little seed or a chunk of potato with an eye. Your crop looks quite ample and I like the unusual shaped tuber at the front of the line.
