Wellington College Open Gardens

Hello

Nice to see you.

Wellington College opened up their gardens to the public on Sunday to raise money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

Some visitors were expecting a lot of flowers in a traditional garden but the gardens offered a different experience as parts of the College could be explored that are normally not open to the public. This included the quadrangles and chapel as well as the Living Legacy Garden that had been part of the 2015 Chelsea Flower Show in commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.

First of all, we'll have a look round the College and all the quads, each different.

What a beautiful place to grow up.

More to follow!

  1. What a beautiful place. Love it when you get the opportunity to look round somewhere that is not normally open to the public. Thanks for sharing. B x

    1. It's good to get an inside view of the College without having to do the lessons! x
