ENGAGE Outdoors

Hello

Visiting the park is always a treat but especially so when something exciting is going on!  Around the parkland were various pieces of art to discover at the weekend.

Janet Curley Cannon Engage! Great fun, look there's me taking a photo!

Diana Burch Roots

Jane Bonnet The Importance of Being

Mark Langley An Act of Folly - the artist was busy recoating the column with clay due to the downpours yesterday!

Pippa Ward Hanging Around - made from plastic bottle tops

Miya Light

Alessandra Rutili Spinning Our Yarn

This of course is the meadow not far from the swan's nest. The cygnet is still doing well!

The booklet produced to go with the exhibition is very well done. Let's hope they do it all again next year. The exhibits are there to get people to have a go at creating something.

Go on, have a go!

  1. What an interesting place to visit, the Hanging Around exhibit reminds me of the huge bunches of mistletoe that invade our Apple trees here in Normandy.

    1. Of course, you'll have to crochet something similar for Basildon Park!
