Flower Wednesday

Hello

It's Flower Wednesday on Riitta's blog this week, so here are a few wildflowers that were in a small clump of grass by the River Test.  The bright colours of the poppies, cornflowers and daisies called to me from the other side of the path. I had to investigate.

Wonderful to see the wildflowers dotted around keeping the insects going and helping them do a good job.

  1. Wildflowers are always so beautiful. I wonder many times how well the different colors go together - yellows, reds, pinks, blues.... It's always a harmony.

Thank you for joining - enjoy your week Karen!

  3. No wonder they called you, they are beautiful. Is it just me or has there been an increase in wild flowers this year? Maybe it is the plus side to the awful rain xx

  5. I'm missing England and her beautiful wildflowers already Karen. Beautiful photos I did not get to see any cornflowers in the wild but always remember planting them in my own kids garden when I was growing up, such pretty delicate blooms!
