Hail

Hello

For about five minutes the other day there was a dreadful clatter going on outside. Hailstones! Then they were gone. Just like that.

You can see our Christmas tree is still looking good after three months and I love looking out of the window at it. Every now and then the wind gusts a bit too much and over it goes, crashing to the floor and we have to dash out and set it right again.

This week we are having a couple of dead trees cut down, we don't want those crashing down in the wind especially as they are teetering over our neighbour's fence.

Indoors we have more colour flowerwise due to the kindness of our youngest. A surprise box, beautifully decorated, arrived and a smile spread from ear to ear with the warmth created.

The weather is supposed to be getting warmer by the weekend.

Cheerio

  1. Beautiful flowers! I hope that all goes well with the tree cutting, better down if they are dead, but sad for you I am sure. xx

    1. Thanks. Sometimes you've just got to do it and the other tree's benefit don't they. x

  2. Lovely flowers and pretty box. I hope the tree cutting goes well, we have just taken down a tree from the front garden as it had begun to lean on the canopy over the front windows and was taking such a lot of light:)

    1. I expect you've noticed a big difference. Trouble is, the light shows up all the cobwebs!:-)
