Reading Buses

Lovely of you to call in.

There are too many cars about, don't you think? It's so convenient to be able to jump into a car and zoom off here, there and every where whenever the whim takes you. Do we really need a car for every journey? Could we use a train or a bus instead?

Reading, where I always visit by train, has a fantastic range of buses. In 2005 Reading Buses invested millions in 100 new fully-accessible, low-emission buses. Their premier routes have a higher frequency rate and are colour-coded too. As you walk around, you can't help but notice all the fabulous colours.

38% of the buses are environmentally friendly with 31 electric hybrid and 34 gas powered buses. They have won heaps of Awards. Have a look at this page of their website to see the marvellous job they are doing environmentally.

Bye for now!

The patient is doing well thanks for your concern.

  1. Oh how embarrassing, I mis read it as reading buses and thought what a great idea doh! But these look interesting and easy to follow with their colour coding. I hope all is well with your patient and that you are taking care too xx

    1. That would be a great idea, a library on a bus with coffee too maybe. x
