Five on Friday - Valentine Reflections

Hello

How are you? Full of beans I hope! If you are on holiday, I hope you're having a great time.

I did wonder about finding five things to do with the NHS this week as it's rather topical at the moment with the decision to impose a new contract on NHS Junior doctors following months of negotiations. We have also been spending quite a bit of time going backwards and forwards to the hospital this week keeping an eye on the'patient' diagnosed with heart problems last week. I have nothing but praise for the staff and cheery conditions at the hospital and all is ticking along nicely.

With hearts on our minds and Valentine's Day not far off, I offer you five reflections of Valentine's Day in the village windows on a bright sunny day.

She Ryder charity shop

Whimsical gift shop

Florist

Coats charity shop

Card shop

I couldn't resist a photo of the butchers as it had all these colourful fruits and vegetables outside.

I hope you have great week and that you've got time to visit Amy's blog to see the other Five on Friday posts.

Bye for now.

  5. You have some great charity shops in the village. The window displays are always imaginatively done. Glad all is going well with you despite the need to be at the hospital a lot recently. I'm always grateful for our medical professionals and other staff.

  12. The shops have all done really well with their window displays haven't they. Lovely to see! Glad that things are going as well as they can with the patient, I know that sitting in hospitals waiting is no fun, I can recommend taking some crochet to occupy you. You might not get much done, but it will spark lots of conversations to pass the time! Thank you for joining Five On Friday, Happy Valentines! xx
