Relax . . . Eat

Hello

Nice to see you!

Time to put your feet up.

Put the kettle on, have a cup of coffee.

Breathe.

Relax.

I'm afraid I've eaten my cheese scone already. I perused the Marks and Spencer breakfast menu and noticed that avocado on toast is a new option. Waitrose experienced a 30% increase in avocado sales when Nigella Lawson's avocado on toast recipe aired on TV, perhaps M&S are hoping to reap the same benefit!

Here's a link to Nigella's website with lots of delicious recipes.

  1. I am usually a major Nigella fan...love her recipes, but I had a bit of a disaster over the holidays.....all will be revealed in this weeks Five on Friday! I like the sound of that cheese scone! Barbara x

  5. Avocado on toast has been around for a much longer time than Nigella, but it is amazing what an effect certain people can have on certain ingredients isn't it. A bit like the effect that Delia used to have years ago! xx

  6. Avocado on toast is one of our favourite staples in this house, lovely with very ripe tomatoes and seasoning too. Hope you enjoyed the cheese scone x

  7. Sounds wonderful and the salad looks lovely, too. I want to get Nigella's new cookbook. Cheese scones sound even better, though! :) x Karen
