The Park by the Shops in September

Hello dear readers, welcome.

Thank you for all your messages, it's always great to hear from you.

Heading for the shops rather quickly to avoid the rain, there was still time to walk around the park and see what is happening this week.  Is it Autumn or still Summer?  Let's take a look.

Small sunflower like daisies are beautifully bright.
The rowan is covered in berries now.
The magpies are eager for a tasty snack.

The formal garden looks good and the trees in the distance are still green.
Flowers are plentiful in the border.

Snazzy pink ones too

There are some fallen leaves.
The water must be cold this morning as most of the birds are sitting on the grass.  All the swans are fine.
The grey heron stares wistfully into the distance.
Only the trees in the car park are changing colour.
Inside a set design for the forthcoming production of The Borrowers is on display.

On the whole, I think Autumn is still a little way off, although it has made a start.

Take care.

Bye for now.

  1. It has felt warm enough to still be summer here today, although the slight turning of the leaves and the chillier mornings are saying otherwise. I hope we have a few more warm days to come before the season changes completely:)
