The P by the S

Hello

Many thanks for calling in.

Another couple of weeks have shot by since my last visit to the Park by the Shops. It's a bit trickier to get there now as the road has been closed for some pipe replacement activity, it's going to take 44 weeks - that's nearly a year! Bother.

Not to be deterred, I found another way in and the gardens continue to look beautiful

Shakespeare's Globe theatre (a replica!)  has gone, but I did find some interesting items around the grounds. What could they be?

A quick tootle round inside the Arts Centre revealed that the outdoor production of Alice in Wonderland is taking place this week. More photos tomorrow.

Just to reassure you, all the swans, ducks and geese are happily about their business, the oaks are sprouting acorns, people are strolling round the park with their dogs. All is well with the world.

Hope it is where you are too.

Cheerio

  1. What beautiful flowers - has given me inspiration for my front garden. Can't wait to see the Alice in Wonderland themed photos. Judy.

  2. Glad to hear it! There's lot going on in that park, isn't there? How great to have outdoor theatre there in such lovely surroundings. I especially like the globe thistles.

    1. No doubt it's in a most inconvenient place to have an oak tree! x
