Guildford Castle and Flowers

Hello

Thanks for dropping in and for all your messages.

I visited the ruins of Guildford Castle in May and was so impressed with Guildford Borough Council's flower beds around the Castle.  Have a look here. You'll see a froth of white below the castle, this time however the area was looking hot, hot, hot!

Patches of wildflowers were dotted around the more formal planting.

There was an unusual tree up on the hill which turned out to be an Indian Bean tree.

Well done to the Council for such a good display.

A wonderful place to have a picnic!

Cheerio
