Winkworth Arboretum

It is just the perfect time to visit Winkworth Arboretum near Godalming to catch the wonderful bluebells scattered everywhere.

Sit back and enjoy the colour.

As well as the bluebells, there are azleas, camellias and many types of trees

This handkerchief tree will have large white bracts later on, like doves.

Pieris

The bog contains an army of gunnera plants

The seats are beautifully carved with animals

It takes about an hour to walk from Godalming to Winkworth, I'll put the directions on the blog on Saturday.

The Pepperpot in Godalming town centre

A wonderful day! 23,000 steps. Phew!

Time to put my feet up.

Cheerio thanks for looking in.
